Overview
Basant, the educated son of a landlord, who disguises himself as a poor farmer to investigate corruption among his father’s tenants and, in the process, falls in love with the kind Kamla. Their budding romance is shattered when his true identity is revealed, forcing him to leave the village misunderstood. Soon after, a murder occurs, leading to Kamla's father being wrongly imprisoned. Years later, as Kamla raises an orphaned child, she and Basant find their lives dangerously intertwined once more by the manipulative villain Gangoo, forcing them to risk everything to uncover the truth and seek justice amidst the tragedy and betrayal.
