Movie metadata
The movie catalog on CineRank — including titles, release dates, genres, cast and crew credits, vote aggregates and identifiers — is derived from community-maintained, publicly available movie metadata. This data is provided by its contributors under the terms of its original sources and belongs to its respective rights holders. CineRank does not claim ownership of any movie metadata.
Artwork and posters
Movie posters and stills displayed on CineRank are served directly from the original content delivery networks of their respective providers. All artwork remains the property of its copyright holders — typically the films’ producers, distributors or their licensing partners. Artwork appears here in reduced resolution strictly for identification and discovery purposes.
Rankings
All rankings on CineRank are computed by CineRank from the underlying rating and popularity aggregates described above. Rankings are not official awards, certified charts, or endorsements by any external body, and they update automatically as source data changes. Each ranked list states the methodology used so results can be interpreted correctly.
No affiliation
CineRank is an independent discovery tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any movie database provider, ratings aggregator, studio, distributor or streaming service. Product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Corrections
Factual errors in the underlying metadata originate from the upstream data sources. Because CineRank reflects its sources rather than overriding them, corrections should be submitted to the originating community database, after which they propagate here with the next data refresh.
